Daniel Lee Snyder

Daniel Lee "Dan" Snyder, age 62 of Defiance, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at his residence.   
  
He was born on September 28, 1962 to William and Florence (Smith) Snyder in Napoleon, Ohio.  Dan was a 1981 graduate of Napoleon High School. He owned and operated his own business "Advanced Precision Tool" for several years. He loved cars, fishing, and being outdoors. Dan treasured his time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
  
Dan is survived by his parents, William and Florence Snyder of Napoleon, OH, his children, Jessica (Mason) Delarber and Derek Snyder, all of Defiance, three grandchildren; Lindsey Delarber, Ryan Delarber and Sophia Snyder, and his brothers, Dennis (Peggy) Snyder of Napoleon and Jerry (Sandy) Snyder of Defiance. 
  
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Letty Delarber.
  
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the American Legion in Napoleon. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
