Daniel M. Ramirez

Daniel M. Ramirez, age 57 of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.  
  
He was born on June 15, 1967 to Simon and Irma (Maldonado) Ramirez in Defiance, Ohio. Daniel was a graduate of Defiance High School and worked in construction. He loved staying active, riding his bike, karate, exercising, and lifting weights. He was a very strong man with a very caring heart. He will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends.
  
Daniel is survived by his brothers and sisters, Camerina Smith of Toledo, Simon Ramirez, Moises Ramirez, Esiquel Ramirez, and Pedro Ramirez, all of Defiance, and many nieces and nephews. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Carlos Ramirez.
 
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
