Bonnie Shaw Obituary

Bonnie Jean (Wolf) (Lammon) Shaw was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at The Meadows of Ottawa, following a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born June 14, 1934 in Tedrow, Ohio to Frederick H. J. and Edna (Snow) Wolf, who preceded her in death.

Bonnie was a life-long bookkeeper, first for her family business, Lammon Furniture, and later for her husband's psychiatric practice. She attended Defiance College as an adult learner majoring in Social Work with a minor in Art. She loved drawing and creating her own pottery, many of which can be found in her children's homes. She was a member of Historical Homes of Defiance, Zonta, the Elks, and Hope Christian Fellowship Church. She had a passion for gardening, especially flowers and tomatoes. Neighbors can attest...So. Many. Tomatoes. She was an amazing cook and you never went home hungry or without an armload of leftovers, "In case you get hungry on the way home." She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always said, "There is never enough time." We agree, Mom. We agree.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Beth) Lammon of Leipsic, OH and grandchildren Megan Lammon-Fluss (Jen Fluss), Jacie (Timothy) Eding and Brittany Lammon. Deborah (Edmund) Breeden of Anderson, IN and grandchildren Autumn (Aaron) Pickering, Matthew Breeden and Austin Breeden. Jill Gentile of Defiance and grandchildren Joseph (Holly) Gentile and Dominic Gentile (Elodie Schrieber). Drs John and Amy Shaw of Defiance, and grandchildren Bradyn Shaw, Cody Shaw and Sophia Shaw. Mark (Catherine) Shaw of Dublin, OH and grandchildren Ethan Shaw, Lauren Shaw and David Shaw. April (Scott) Goddard of Montague, MI and grandchildren Mallorie (Adam) Kragt, Lynsae (Cody) Kammeraad, Bailey Wilson (Harvey Greenbey) and Scott (Amy) Goddard, 16 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Lloyd Graf, sister-in-law, Linda Lammon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Robert A. Shaw M.D. in 2017 and husband Robert Lee Lammon in 1976, her son, Robert Lee Lammon, II, brothers, Chester Wolf, Sr., Frederick Wolf, Richard Wolf and Charles Mason, sisters Iva Belle Poe, Shirley Graf and Ruth Wolf, and several beloved brothers and sisters-in-law.
