Obituary
Barbara J. "Barb" Barham, age 74 of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on June 27, 1948 to Lowell and Theresia (Stuckey) Kennedy in Defiance, Ohio. She earned her Associates Degree from The Amimal School of Science. Barb was a member of the AKA American Kennel Association and CKC (Continental Kennel Club). She also owned Moonlight Kennel in Defiance for 50 years and a cleaning service for many years. Barb enjoyed nature, dogs and horses, but her greatest joy was time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barb is survived by her daughters, Angie Rodriquez of Ft. Wayne, LeAnn Peterson of Toledo, and her son, Tony (Melony) Barham of Dandridge TN, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, her brothers, Doug (Wilma) Kennedy of Defiance and Mark (Petche) Kennedy of TX, and her sisters, Susie Locher of Defiance and Julie (Rick) Renollet of FL.
She was preceded in death by parents, brother Jerry Kennedy, and sister Caroline Baden.
There will be a Celebration of life Service held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the Defiance VFW Post #3360.
