Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Speidell, age 47 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Defiance, Ohio.
He was born on April 11, 1975 to Gary and Sue (Lange) Speidell in Defiance. Tony was a 1994 graduate of Ayersville High School and a member of First Church of God in Defiance. He worked as an Electrician for Knueve & Sons Co. He loved motorcycles and four-wheeling with his son Cooper, and attending Delaney's band performances. Tony was a master of all trades and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his kids. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sue and Larry Brown of Defiance, his former wife, Laura Speidell of Defiance, his children, Delaney and Cooper Speidell, his sister, Tonya (Steve) Briseno of Defiance, his nephew Boston Briseno, his niece Layla Briseno, and very special friends, Barry and LouAnn Froelich.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary E. Speidell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at First Church of God. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Pastor Larry Kennedy officiating. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to his children, Delaney and Cooper.
