Adam J. Bauer Sr.

Adam J. Bauer, Sr., 38, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his residence.  
  
He was born on November 3, 1984 to Clifford and Sandra (Santos) Bauer in Defiance.
  
Adam was a member of the former VFW Men's Auxiliary Post 3360 where he serviced as past president, Life member of the VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie 372 and AmVets Post 1991.  He enjoyed cooking, playing his Xbox, listening to music and laughing at all times especially the hard times. He was previously employed at the former Alex Products in Ridgeville Corners, General Motors and Cooper Farms.
  
Adam is survived by his mother, Sandra M. Bauer of Defiance, his daughter, Mya Esperanza and his son, Adam John Bauer, Jr., both of Bryan, OH.  He also leaves behind his sister, Adriannea McCorkle of Holgate, his brothers, Thomas Santos Sr. and Robert (Amanda) Spangler both of Defiance, his grandmother, Petrita Santos of Defiance, and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Pietsch, Noah and Briannea Grime, Madison, Taylor, Allyson and Zoey Spangler; Thomas Jr, Dylan, and Analica Santos.
  
He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Christina L Bauer, grandparents, Vernon and Velma Bauer and Ruben H. Santos, and a nephew, Scott M. Grime.
  
All services will be private. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
