William (Bill) E. Weber, 84, of Defiance, died Thursday morning, August 6, 2015 at the CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born in Defiance, Ohio on April 11, 1931, he was the son of the late Clarence and Louise (Hall) Weber.
Bill was a 1949 graduate of Defiance High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War on the U.S. Roanoke. He had worked as a truck driver at Dinner Bell. He was also a school bus driver for Defiance City Schools. He was a life member of the AMVETS post #1991 and VFW Post # 3360. A member of the Defiance Elks, a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Bill was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoyed traveling and being with family.
On Nov. 10, 1956 he married Deloris Amspaugh, who survives.
He will be missed by his wife of 58 years, Deloris,

twin sister: Beverly George of Defiance
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Sandie Beavers, Lauren, Aaron, Andrew, Claire, Achsa, Hannah Weber, Jake Wilson, 2 great grandchildren: Faith and Logan Beavers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10th, with Father Randy Giesige officiating.
Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-8 p.m. and an hour before services at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, OH. A vigil service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens where VFW Post # 3360 will conduct graveside rites.
