William E. Moore William "Skeeter" E. Moore, 83, of Defiance, passed away Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 at Glenn Park of Defiance. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on April 26, 1929, he was the son of the late Mitchell and Elva (Byers) Moore. He was a 1947 graduate of Defiance High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired in 1991 from Ford in Lima where he had worked for 16 years. He had also been employed at Pepsi in Bryan and at Bunny Bread in Defiance. He was preceded death by a brother Mitchell Moore Jr. Surviving are two daughters: Sherry (Richard) Laurie of Guelph, Ontario, Barbara (Roger) LaForce of Talbott, Tenn. sister: Margaret Wiseman of Ocala, Fl. grandchildren: Heather Laurie, Jennifer Laurie, Corey Wagner, a step grandson: Jamie LaForce and a great granddaughter: Darrian Wagner.
