William "Bill" L. Leach, age 86, of Bryan, Ohio, formerly of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Bryan Community Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1938 to the late Waldo and Luella (Hoschak) Leach in Defiance, Ohio. Bill was a 1957 graduate of Jewell High School. He worked for 43 years as a Coordinator at Campbell's Soup Company. Bill was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance Moose Lodge #2094, AmVets #1991, VFW #3360 and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends at McDonald's and tinkering with cars and engines. He liked music and dancing, and loved pies and sweets. Bill is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am, with Fr. George Wenzinger  officiating. Bill will be laid to rest at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
