Warren Leo Michael, 66, of North Baltimore, Ohio,  passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Heritage Village of Waterville in Waterville, Ohio.

He was born on January 31, 1951 to Delbert and Catherine (Janice) Michael at Fairmont, WV. Warren served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. On November 5, 1971 he married Virginia Fay (Plummer) Michael, who resides in North Baltimore, Ohio.

Warren drove truck for several companies, and also worked for the California Dept. of Corrections. He was a volunteer firefighter, and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and riding motorcycles on long trips. Warren loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Warren will be sadly missed by his loving spouse of 46 years, Virginia Michael of North Baltimore, OH, sons, Roger (Brandi) Michael of Terra Haute, IN,  and Scott (Kathy) Michael of Napoleon, seven grandchildren, brothers, Gene (Sally) Michael of Spokane, WA, Byron Michael and Craig Michael of  Boaz, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Janice and Connie Michael.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  A Graveside Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery, with graveside military rites accorded by VFW #3360.
