Wanda Faye (Rose) Ludemann Wanda Faye (Rose) Ludemann, age 66, of Defiance, passed away at 1:35 P:M , Friday, April 24th, 2009 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance. She was born in Town Creek, Alabama on July 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lizzie (Evans) Mayes. She married Thomas Ludeman in 1998 and he survives. She worked as a nurses aid at the Laurels of Defiance, in other area nursing homes and in area factories. Besides her husband Tom, surviving are daughters: Wanda (John) Bigger of Edgerton, Oh., LaDonna (Roscoe) Johnson of Defiance son: Charles (Andrea) Rose of Alabama sisters: Dean Aday of Alabama, Pauline Patterson of Alabama She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sisters: Celestine Short, Modine Walden and Billie Morris, brothers: Joe Henry Mayes and Peewee Mayes and her parents. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance, at 11:00 A:M on Monday, April 27th, with Rev. Bobby Branham and Laura Mclaren officiating.
