Vivian D Ryan, 97, of Defiance, passed away on  Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Glenn Park of Defiance.

She was born on September 8, 1915 to Charles and Leona (Weisz) Baum in Defiance, OH. On June 1, 1963 she married Alner D. Ryan and he passe on September 16, 1975.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church..

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Ruthann Blue of Bryan, sons, Robert (Pamela) Gibler of Baton Rouge, LA, Gary (Jane) Gibler of Carmel, IN and 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Lewis Gibler whom she married in 1937 and he passed away in 1960,  2nd husband, Alner D Ryan, sisters, Mildred Lalonde, Sadie Ehrat, Marge Feeney,  Edid Denton and a brother John Baum.

Visitation will be held  at Schaffer Funeral Home Thurs, April 4, 2013 with funeral service at 12:00 pm. with Rev. Michael Donnally officiating.
