Virginia Lee (Ginny) Coressel Virginia Lee (Ginny) Coressel, age 82, of Defiance, passed away at 9:18 A:M , Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Defiance, on March 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Nelson S. and Grace A. (Kinner) Miller She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church, the Altar Society, and the Jewell American Legion Auxilliary. She married James J. Coressel Oct. 22, 1949 and he died July 1, 2006. Surviving are three daughters and four sons- Daughters: Deborah (Robert) Leopold of Defiance, Diane Szabo of Big Springs, TX, Denise (Harry) Cramer of Continental, OH Sons: James (Denise) Coressel of Perrysburg, OH, Wayne (Joyce) Coressel of Defiance, Keith (Janis) Coressel of Stryker, OH, Matthew (Stacy) Coressel of Defiance. Three brothers- Daniel (Kayla) Miller of Loveland, Colorado, Steven (Kerin) Miller of Ft. Wayne and Marvin (Dorothy) Miller of Des Plaines, Illinois. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son Joseph, her husband James, a sister Marilyn Miller and a brother Donovan Miller. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:30 A:M on Monday, December 8th, with Father Dave Tscherne officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-9 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home where there will be a rosary service Sunday at 7:00 P:M Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
