Viola D. Cline Viola D. Cline, 98, of Defiance, passed away at 11:00 p.m. , Friday, March 1st, 2013 at Toledo Hospital, Toledo. She was born in New Bavaria, OH on January 10, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhemina (Gephart) Brown. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a homemaker. On August 17, 1935 she married Christopher Cline who died February 26, 1979. Surviving are; a daughter: Joan Hussey of Defiance, son; William "Butch" (Connie) Cline of Defiance, and son-in-law; Oscar Trivett. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Viola was preceded in death by her husband Christopher, daughter Ruth Ann Trivett, brothers; Leland Brown, Leorell Brown, sister; Vontella "Bonnie" Brown , son-in-law Harold Hussey and her parents. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5th, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Friends are invited to call Monday 3-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Interment will be at Riverview Memory Gardens. Suggested memorials are to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
