Verona Louise Meine, 78, of Defiance, went to meet her Lord & Savior on October 5, 2014 at the CHP Defiance InPatient Hospice Center of Defiance, OH.

She was born on September 8, 1936 to August and Flora (Hurtt) Kammeyer in Defiance, OH.

Verona is survived by her son, Robert (Denise) Meine of Defiance, OH, daughter, Ellen (Jeff) Oelfke of Defiance, OH, son, Marvin (Lynn) Meine of Minot, ND, daughter, Cheryl Rudy of Defiance, OH, son, Richard Meine of Bryan, OH, daughter, Susan (Kevin) Wagner of Continental, OH, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, sister, Ethel Retcher of Arthur, OH, sister, Elsie (Fred) Olinghouse of Defiance, OH, sister, Barb Bibler of Defiance, OH, sister, Francis (Harry) Brown of Defiance, OH, brother, Larry (Marilyn) Kammeyer of Archbold, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gene Kammeyer, sister, Alberta Gilliam, sister, Margaret Lowery, sister, Georgie Davis, brother, Robert Kammeyer, and 4 other siblings in childhood.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Pastors Kevin Kellum & Mike Kelly, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
