Vanessa A. Hernandez, age 23 of Defiance, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 in Defiance. She was born on January 10, 1999 to Edward and Angel (Donley) Hernandez in Paulding, Ohio. Vanessa was a wonderful mother, and cherished her time spent with her family. Vanessa had a great sense of humor and positive energy. She liked to joke around and was always fun to be with. Vanessa loved being with her children and her boyfriend. Vanessa will be sadly missed by her mother, Angel Hernandez of Oakwood, OH, her father, Edward (Rachel Smith) Hernandez of Defiance, her daughters, Isabel and Donna Thompson, her grandmother, Nancy Donley of Defiance, and her siblings; Anthony (Ariana) Hernandez of Griffin, GA, Lexus Hernandez of Defiance, Maceo Hernandez of Oakwood, Kenadi Smith of Defiance, Julian Hernandez of Defiance, her significant other, Donald Thompson of Defiance, her great-grandmother, Grace Mast of Defiance, and her nephew, Isaiah Hernandez of Georgia.
