Tony A. Homan, 73, of Defiance, OH, passed away Tuesday night, December 16, 2014, at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne.
He was born in Florida, Ohio on April 18, 1941, he was the son of the late John and Doris (Henry) Homan.
He married Shirley Noss on May 23, 1970 who survives.
Tony was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance.
He had worked in the receiving department at John-Manville for 40 years and retired in 2001. He was a Florida, Ohio high school graduate.
He was a volunteer at Defiance Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed league bowling, supporting Kenton High School sports and his family.
Tony always had a big welcoming smile for everyone.
Tony will be greatly missed by his wife Shirley,
sons: Jim Homan of Kenton, Mark (Devrie) Homan of Ft. Wayne,
3 grandchildren; Alexander, Izzabella and Matthew Homan.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 in St. John Lutheran Church.
with Rev. Donald Luhring and Rev. Joshua Schmidt officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, and at the church an hour prior to services Saturday.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.
