Tommy "Tom" Warncke, 60, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio.

He was born on September 22, 1954 to Alvin and Emma (Michaelis) Warncke in Defiance, Ohio.

Tom was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance. He graduated from Defiance High School in 1972.  Tom retired from Johns Manville, after working as a mechanic for 40 years and as a Committee Man for many years. He was a member of Moose, Eagles, and was an Associate Member of VFW.

Tommy  is survived by his sons, Tommy (Bobbie) Warncke, Jr. of Paulding, and Tobby (Sarah Nally) Warncke of Defiance,  grandchildren, Farrah Warncke, Cameryn Warncke, Paxton Warncke, Kiarra Hawn, Kyla Hawn, and Davina Tejchman, brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Warncke and Tim Warncke, both of Defiance,  Alvin Warncke, Jr. of Holgate,  and sister, Roxanne Gaeth of Naperville, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Emma Warncke, niece, Teri Warncke, and nephew, Troy Warncke.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, February 20, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, and one hour prior to services at St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Donald Luhring, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens.
