Todd  A. Gallant, 51, of Defiance, passed away on  January 3, 2019 at the Defiance Mercy Hospital .

He was born on March 23, 1967 to Tommy and Dina (Froelich) Gallant in Defiance, Ohio.  He was a 1986 Defiance High School graduate. Todd was a fork lift operator for various companies. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years during Desert Storm and was in the Army Reserve.  On  December 2, 2010 he married  Jeanease Hullinger who survives in Defiance.

Todd is survived by his wife, his mother, a brother, Trent (Juli) Gallant of Sykesville, MD, a sister, Tracie (Dave) Gunder of Hamilton, IN, a daughter, Sara Fisher of Defiance, OH, three nieces.

He was preceded in death by father, Tommy Lewis Gallant, a baby brother, 7 uncles, 1 aunt, 4 grandparents.

Visitation will be held  at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 2-6 pm.
