Timothy Stokes, 57, of  Oakwood, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Parkview North Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on July 14, 1961 to Charles and Sandra (Scott) Stokes in Lima, Ohio. Timothy worked as a Truck Driver for Real Waste Disposal. On October 6, 1990 he married Cynthia (Scott) Stokes. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, hunting, and playing guitar.  Timothy will always be remembered as a wonderful father and a loving and caring grandfather. Timothy is survived by his loving spouse of 27 years Cynthia, daughters, Lora Scott (James Cook), Jennifer Stokes (Adam Coburn), Natasha Stokes (Michael Dotson) and Danielle Stokes (Cody Adkins), sons, Timothy Stokes, Jr. (Jessica Evans) and Jeremy Stokes, 21 grandchildren, sister, Charlene Honcell, brothers, Tony Stokes and Todd Stokes. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Alexis Coburn and sister Terri Orange. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Eldon Hartman officiating. Memorials are suggested to the to the family.
