Timothy J. Casarez, age 65 of Defiance, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1958 to the late Alfonso and Peggy (Frakes) Casarez in Napoleon, Ohio. He worked as a Truck Driver for Genova Products until his retirement in 2020. Tim enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with his family, and watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tim will be greatly missed by his family and many good friends. Tim is survived by his daughter, Brittney Casarez of Defiance, stepson Jason Drain of Wauseon, OH, his grandchildren, Trenton Weber, McKenzie Weber, and Taylor Weber, all of Defiance, his brothers, Michael Casarez of Traverse, FL, Chris Casarez of Kissimmee, FL, and Matt Casarez of West Palm Beach, FL, and his sister, Lisa Smith of Ararat, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Peggy Casarez.
