Thomas Jeffery Shoup, age 55, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on December 25, 2025.

He was born in Defiance, Ohio on August 1, 1970 to the late Lloyd "Bud" and Elizabeth "Betty" Shoup. He proudly owned his own business "Shoup Lawn Care" for several years.

Tom is survived by his siblings, Michael (Kerri) Shoup of Defiance, Penny Cryer of Defiance, Linda (Joe) Hoffman of Coldwater MI, and Billie Jo (Steve) Ward of Napoleon. He also leaves behind his nephews, Jason and Jonathan, his nieces, Melinda and Holly, and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Steve and Randy Shoup, and his sister, Christine Shoup.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:45 pm with prayers led by Joe Geiger.
