Thomas E. Seibert Thomas E. Seibert, 82, of Defiance, passed away Thursday morning, April 11th, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on January 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Francis and Genevieve (Beez) Seibert. Tom was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a graduate of Defiance High School. He was employed at Dinner Bell Foods for 40 years as a supervisor.. On October 17, 1954 he married Shirley Rose who died January 8, 2013. Tom will be missed by sons: Greg (Julie) Seibert of Defiance and their daughters Kylee and Kaitlyn. Chris (Deb) Seibert of Mark Center and their sons Scott, Steve, D.J., and Shane. a daughter: Sue Rakes of Napoleon and her children Joseph and Alicia. a brother: Richard (Beverly) Seibert of New York. and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters; Betty Kehres and Lois Hoschak, brothers; Roger Seibert and Fran Seibert. A Memorial Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16th, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, an hour before services at the church. Suggested memorials are to the Laurels of Defiance Activity Fund.
