Thomas E. Finkenbiner, 53, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio. He was born on April 18, 1962 to William and Lois (Strohl) Finkenbiner in Bowling Green, Ohio. Thomas was a member of Defiance Christian Church. He was also a member of DASH, and was active in Good Sam activities. Thomas was employed at Scott Port-A-Fold in Archbold, Ohio, Quadco Northwest Products, and Holiday Inn in Defiance. Thomas is survived by his mother, Lois A. Finkenbiner of Defiance, son, Andy (Crystal) Davis, daughter, Alycia (Jarod) Bany, granddaughter, Mackenzie Bany, grandson, Mason Davis, brother, Doug (Rose) Finkenbiner, and sister, Jackie (Jim) Butler, all of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Finkenbiner, and brother, David Finkenbiner. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Hasselbring officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio.
