Theresa C Frank, 91, of Defiance, passed away on  Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.

She was born on November 15, 1922 to Peter and Theresa (Bonelli) Casella in Bronx, NY. On January 17, 1948 Theresa married Stephen J. Frank, Sr. and he passed away on January 28, 1999.

She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society, the 55 Club, the choir and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  Theresa was a volunteer at Defiance Regional Hospital , and manager & bookkeeper at Willey-Garman in Defiance..

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Dr. Theresa M Frank (Ron Bucher) of Sunnyvale, CA,  son, Stephen J (Mary) Frank Jr. of N. Royalton, OH, son, Paul (Kathy) Frank of Defiance, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Rose Casella of East Northport, NY.

She was preceded in death by father, Peter Casella, mother, Theresa J Casella, husband, Stephen J Frank Sr., sister, Genevieve Rao, sister, Eusebia Giovenco.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home,  Defiance, Ohio.  A rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday at the Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, 10:30 am at the St. Michae'sl Catholic Church, rural Defiance, with Father Robert Kill, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Michae'ls Catholic Cemetery.
