Theo J. Ryder Theo J. Ryder, age 90, of Defiance, Oh , passed away at 4:10 A:M , Thursday, August 28th, 2008 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. Theo was born in Defiance, Ohio on January 13, 1918, he was the son of the late Theo A. and Bertha A. (Bowers) Ryder He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church - Defiance, Oh. He married Julia S. (Steffan) and she died August 7, 1981. Religious Service at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 A:M on Saturday, August 30th, with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Oh.
