Terry J Stokes, 61, of Defiance, passed away on  June 7, 2019 in her residence in Defiance,OH. She was born on June 30, 1957 to George and Mary (Little) Justice in Defiance, OH.  On July 11, 1985 she married Harold Stokes, who survives. Terry was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, fishing, and camping. She also loved her 2 Dachshunds, Jasmine and Minnie. Terry is survived by her loving spouse of 33 years, Harold Stokes of Defiance, OH, a son, Patrick (JoEllen) Pessefall of Montpelier, OH, 3 daughters, Kathy Myers of Bryan, OH, Melissa (Barry) Schwab of Hamler, OH, and Brandi (Larry) Duke of Waterloo, IN, 11 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and a sister, Nadine Ridenour of Bryan, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Russell Justice. Visitation will be held Monday, June 10, 2019, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Burnell Hammons, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverview Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the Williams County Humane Society.
