Terry S. Elberson 82, of Bonita Springs, Florida died on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born on October 11, 1941 in Fort Wayne, IN a son of the late Elwood L. and Jean (Pressler) Elberson. He had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2017 coming from Fort Wayne.

Terry was raised in Defiance, OH and was a graduate of Defiance High School Class of 1959. He then continued his studies at the University of Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After graduating from Notre Dame, Terry returned to Defiance and joined the family business, Dinner Bell Foods where he spent the next 30 years. Terry then moved back to Fort Wayne, IN and began working for Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial advisor. He enjoyed many successful years at Wells Fargo and retired in 2017.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie L. Elberson of Bonita Springs, FL; his three children, Christine A. Giroux (Brian) of Madison, WI, Marc S. Elberson (Trudy) of Columbus, OH and David P. Elberson (Lynn) of Howell, MI; his three siblings, Carol Sutherland (Michael) of Rochester Hills, MI, Michael Elberson (Julie) of Brookfield, WI and Mary Hetz (Mark) of Logansport, IN; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas Elberson and his sister, Karen Tubbs.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, OH. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory be made to the Women's Care Center, 4600 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
