Terry E. Booher, 68, of Paulding, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at The Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on February 18, 1949 to Raymond and Barbara (Jester) Booher in Dunkirk, IN. Terry served our country in the U.S. Army, and was a qualified expert rifleman. He loved music and he played the drums for various bands in the area. Terry enjoyed fishing, and the simple things in life. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He had an unconditional love for his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Terry will be sadly missed by his sons, Freddie Hayes of Delta, Craig (Anna) Booher of Lima, OH, Jeremy (Miranda) Booher of Bolivia, and Daniel Booher of Putnam Co., daughters, Michelle Leonard of Paulding, Charity Booher of Defiance, and Dorothy (Brandon) Bronson of Defiance, 17 grandchildren, seven brothers, and six sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Booher, and brother, Gary Booher. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Rev. Chad Lamb officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery with graveside military rites accorded by VFW #3360. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
