Sylvia A. Chaney Sylvia A. Chaney, 57, of Defiance, passed away Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 30, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Albert Flores Sr. and Isabel (Cantu) Flores whom survives her in Defiance. Sylvia Chaney was a loving, loyal, compassionate person loved by all. She was employed at the Campbell Soup Co. for for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Temple of Praise Assembly of God. Surviving are two daughters: Michelle Chaney of Round Rock, Texas and Angie Chaney of Defiance. Two grandchildren: Jocelyn and Jacob Chaney of Round Rock, Tx. Her mother Isabel Flores of Defiance. Sisters: Roselie Flores of Defiance, Linda Davila of Defiance Brothers: Albert Flores of Defiance, Fred Flores of Petersburg, Mich., John Flores of Defiance. As well as several nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her late husband Michael T. Chaney and grandmother Pauline Rodriguez. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 5th, with Pastor Ruben Laguna officiating. Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-9 and Wednesday 10-12.
