Suzanne M. Maddio, age 78 of Defiance, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Mercy Defiance Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1946 to the late Charles and Caroline (Scholar) Sykes in Detroit, Michigan. She was happily married to Gary Maddio who preceded her in death on May 16, 2013. Suzanne is survived by her son, Jerry (Agnes) Sills of Stockbridge, MI, sister Glenda Harris of Gladwin, MI, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five half-siblings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children, Terry Sills, Kathleen Sills, Mirenda Sills, Delvin Sills, and Jenny Nogrady, three brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Ft. Defiance Humane Society. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com.
