Susan Carol Harris, 45, of Defiance, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance.

She was born April 12, 1971 in Defiance, Ohio, to her parents Charles Sisco, Jr. and Janice (Johnson) Sisco.  Susan was a 1989 graduate of Defiance High School. She worked at Hills Department Store and Lowe's Home Improvement Center. Susan spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Defiance.  There was nothing she enjoyed more then spending time with her family and her animals. Some of her favorite moments were found around nature, dancing, road trips, and movies.

Susan is survived by the love of her life, Scott Vielma, her children, Cody  Harris, Sheldon Harris, and Janaya Harris-Vielma, all of Defiance, her mother, Janice Sisco of Defiance, sisters, Sherry (Rich) Yeager, and Jenny (Doug) Albert, brother, Tim Sisco, step-daughter Aleeah Nestor, and grandson Jayden Nestor, all of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sisco, Jr., and grandparents Charles and Donelda Sisco, and Maynard and Dorothy Johnson.

Visitation will he held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Rev. David Brobston officiating.

Memorials are suggested to her children, or CHP Defiance Hospice Center.
