Susan L Butler, 64, of Defiance, passed away on  Sunday, October 20, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, OH.

She was born on August 10, 1949 to Charles, Sr. and Delores (Dishong) Heinze in McComb, OH.  On June 11, 1967 she married Robert E. Butler and he passed away on September 7, 1995.

Susan was an Ayersville High School graduate and worked at Johnson Control in Bryan.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Shirley) Butler of Bryan, Thomas L Butler of Stryker, Kenneth Butler of Defiance, daughters, Vicki (Richard) Keeterle of Defiance,  Kailey (Justin) Adkins of Defiance, Kyleen (Adrian Mesker) Butler of Defiance, 4 grandchildren, brother, Charles L (Denise) Heinze Jr. of Napoleon, sister, Judy (Albert) Fackler of Leipsic. A special friend Mel Hand. She was cared for by the Allcaring Home Health Services.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,  sisters, Joann and Elizabeth, and a brother, Peter Heinze.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Hebron Ministries Church, Defiance, at 11:30 am with Rev. Vincent Cantu officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:30.  Burial will be at a later date.
