Steven R. Volpe Steven R. Volpe, 32, of Defiance, passed away Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 at home. He was born in Putnam Valley, New York on October 10, 1986, he was the son of Dino and Bonnie (Kaye) Volpe. Steve attended Putnam Valley, N.Y. school until moving to Defiance in 1994. He was a 2004 graduate of Defiance High School. He had worked at the Campbell Soup Company and enjoyed playing his guitar. Surviving is his son Luca Volpe and step daughter Norah St. Clair. His parents Dino and Bonnie Volpe of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Megan (Shegena) Volpe, on July 1, 2018. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8th. Visitation is Friday 2-8 p.m. and Saturday 9-11 am at Lawson-Roessner. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
