Steve  Michoff, 87,  of Defiance, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday evening December 26, 2012. He had been residing at the Laurels of Defiance for the past several years.

Steve was born June 17, 1925 in Toledo and was the son of Steve Laura (Hastings) Michoff.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred (Allgire) Michoff whom he married on May 5, 1943. Steve is also survived by a daughter Marcia Michoff of Defiance, two grandchildren; Adam Woods of Ft. Wayne, IN, Erica Woods of Defiance, three brothers Robert Michoff, David (Dixie) Michoff all of Bryan, Michael Michoff of Georgetown, CA and a sister Nancy (Phillip) Moore of Flagstaff, AZ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Debra Woods, two sisters; Laura Michoff and Marion Brick and a brother Max Michoff.

Steve served in the U.S. Army during WW II and received a purple heart and a bronze star. He worked at Allstar Products for many years and was a member of the Defiance Church of the Nazarene, American Legion, VFW Post #3360 all of Defiance. Steve enjoyed camping and spending time with his two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Retcher officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 12noon.

Burial will follow and will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.
