Stephen Roy Wonderly, Sr., 31, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home in Oil City, Pennsylvania.

He was born on February 27, 1984 to Mark Wonderly of Sherwood, Ohio, and Debra (Zeedyk) Meyer of Defiance. Stephen was a member of  Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan, Ohio. He was a former member of the Montpelier Model Train Club, Mark Blue Ribbon 4H Club, Boy Scout Troop #139 in Sherwood, Ohio, and was a  Fairview High School graduate and FFA Member.

Stephen is survived by his  father, Mark S. Wonderly of Sherwood,  mother, Debra D. Meyer of Defiance, sister, Christina (David) Weber of Hicksville, sister, Michelle (Charlie) Light of Liberty Center, sister, Jennifer (Joshua) Dalton of Bryan, brother, Jonathan Wonderly of Defiance, son, Stephen R. Wonderly, Jr. of Defiance, daughter, Gracie Herman of Edgerton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nellie and Roger J. Zeedyk, Sr., and Rita and Arthur Wonderly.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Tim Yazel and Rev. Wayne Altstaetter officiating.
