Stanley J. Brahier, 86, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at The Laurels of Defiance.

He was born in Maumee, Ohio on November 19, 1930. He was the son of the late Catherine Jane Spillane and Peter Brahier.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Wohn Brahier, daughter Teresa (Dave) Disbrow, sons Scott (Renate) Brahier, and Barry (Janet) Brahier, stepdaughter Stephanie (John) Auwaerter. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Joe Disbow, Martin Brahier, Elisabeth Brahier, Julia Auwaerter, and Eva Auwaerter.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Marie Canelli, and his first wife, Jeanne Topping Brahier.

He was a Marine Corps veteran and served during the Korean War.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. John United Church of Christ in Defiance.
