Shirley A. Seibert Shirley A. Seibert, 79, of Defiance, Oh , passed away Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at Laurels of Defiance. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia on May 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Margaret Rose. Shirley married Thomas E. Seibert October 17, 1954 and he survives. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church She will be sadly missed by sons: Greg (Julie) Seibert of Defiance and their daughters Kylee and Kaitlyn, Chris (Deb) Seibert of Mark Center and their sons Scott, Steve, D.J., and Shane, a daughter: Sue Rakes of Napoleon and her children Joseph and Alicia. Nine great grandchildren and four sisters survive. She was preceded in death by a brother. A Memorial Mass of Remembrance was celebrated this morning Thursday, Jan. 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Suggested memorials are to the Laurels of Defiance Activity Fund. The Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements. Condolences may be shared at www.defiancefuneralhome.com.
