Shirley J. (Kiessling) Whitmore, 56, passed away on  Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residents in Defiance, Ohio. She was born on August 30, 1961 to Louis and Rita (Miller) Kiessling in Defiance. On September 11, 1983 she married David Whitmore who preceded her in death in 2005.

Shirley enjoyed crocheting and other yarn crafts.  She also enjoyed doing hair. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Virginia Whitmore-Trueman and step-son, David L. Whitmore, Jr.  She is also survived by her brothers:  John (Tina) Kiessling; James Kiessling; and Tom (Vickie) Kiessling as well as 3 half sisters.
