Shirley Ann Hoellrich, 81, of Holgate, went to be with her lord on April 30, 2015 passing away at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo . She was born on June 30, 1933 to Orrin and Margurite (Shisler) Harris in Oakwood, OH. Shirley was a home maker, attended the Family Christian Center, Defiance, volunteered with the American Cancer Society, and was a member of the Defiance VFW and AmVets. She was united in marriage to Arthur Hoellrich on July 7, 1956 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2009. Shirley is survived by her sons, Terry Hoellrich of Holgate, OH, and  Greg Hoellrich of Oakwood, OH, daughter, Sherry Starry of Bryan, OH, daughter, Cindy Patten of Bryan, OH, brother, Richard Harris of Continental, OH, 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Walter Harris, a half brother Jack Harris, and a sister, Helen Williams. Visitation will be held  at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, on Wednesday, May 6th  from 11-1 pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tim Tracy & Rev. Drew Gardner officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Shirley was a devoted wife, and mother who showed unconditional love for her family and friends.  She will live in our hearts forever. Memorials are suggested to the Family.
