Shelia M. Fockler Shelia M. Fockler, 58, of Defiance, passed away Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on July 20, 1958, she was the daughter of the late James F. Zehner and Nina (Coressel) Mayes who survives her of Defiance She was the wife of Charles C. Fockler whom she married Nov. 23, 1987. Shelia will be greatly missed by her husband Charles, daughter Chelsea Fockler, son Samuel Fockler, her mother Nina Mayes and brother Ted Zehner all of Defiance. Preceded in death by her father James and a daughter Angela Kathleen Fockler who died in infancy. She was 1976 graduate of Defiance High School and received an Associate Degree. She had worked at the Defiance County Home and was a member of St. John Catholic Church, C.L.C. and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her dog Callie and her previous pets. Services at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9th, with Father Eric Mueller officiating. Visitation is Friday 9-11 a.m. at Lawson-Roessner with a VFW Ladies Auxiliary service at 9:30. Entombment will be private for the family at Riverview Memory Gardens.
