Shawn Gregory Pollock, 36, of Cecil OH, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2014.  He was born to Gregory and Angeline (Reineck) Pollock on Sunday, April 30, 1978.

Shawn was a graduate of Paulding High School, a past 4-H member, a former employee of Spartech Plastics, and an avid sports fan.  He was a member of Family Christian Center in Defiance, where he enjoyed serving as one of the "Men in Black".

On September 4, 1994, he married Amanda Virginia Fry, who survives.  Other survivors include a son, Noah Theriot Pollock, at home, his parents of Defiance, a sister, Tabitha (Richard) Sullivan of Defiance, a brother, Nicholas Pollock of Cecil OH, several nieces and a nephew.

Visitation for Shawn will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 2-8 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the funeral home, with Rev Tim Tracy officiating.  Burial will take place in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.  Preferred memorials are to the family to help with funeral expenses.
