Sandra Lynne  Ankney, 81, of Celina, passed away on Wednesday,  December 12, 2018 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater, Ohio. She was born on August 7, 1937 to Rolla and Esther (Keefer) Worthington in Shelby, Ohio. In 1954 she married Jesse Ankney, who preceded her in death in 1995. Sandra worked as a librarian for Tiffin Elementary School for several years until her retirement in 2004. She also worked at Ft. Defiance Humane Society. Sandra enjoyed genealogy in her leisure time. Sandra is survived by her son, Darren  (Jodie) Ankney of Celina, grandchildren , Bryce Ankney and Jade Pearson, her sister, Gloria, and cousins, Varlan Dee and  Arthella. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jesse Ankney. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Memorials are suggested to Ft.
