Samantha Lynn "Sam" Salyers, age 32 of Evansport,Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 in Hicksville, Ohio. She was born on June 1, 1990 to Thomas and Julie (Johnson) Salyers in Bryan, Ohio. Sam was a nursing assistant with Parkview Care Center in Edgerton, Ohio. She was very family-oriented and loved spending time with her boys, and attended every one of their sporting events. She enjoyed the outdoors, crafting, vacations, and cheering on her nieces and nephews at their games. Sam will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends. Sam is survived by her parents, Thomas and Julie Salyers of Evansport, her sons, Kogan Estel and Lenox DeMoulin of Evansport, her siblings, Jennifer (Shawn) Wickerham of Stryker, Michael (Megan Sell) Salyers of Ney, and Patience Wagner of Evansport, her grandmothers, Ruth Gideon of Evansport and Leona Salyers of Continental, her best friend, James Hutchinson of Montpelier, and her nieces and nephews, Alexia, Braylen, Callie, Kale and Reid. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Allen Johnson, Everette Salyers, and Stephen Gideon. All services for Sam will be private.
