Sally Sue Karatsoridis, 68, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.

She was born on May 5, 1944 to Robert Dudley and Susan Harriett (McMillan) Way in Wadsworth, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Konstantin Karatsoridis whom she married on February 24, 1973. Also surviving are her sons, Stavros Karatsoridis of Defiance, Ohio, Jason (Erica Hoard) Karatsoridis of Columbus, Ohio, and a brother, Richard Way, of Wooster, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sally was a special education teacher for many years. She spent two years living and teaching in the Yup'ik village of Kongiganak, Alaska, where she taught 7th-12th grade special education classes at Dick R. Kiunya Memorial School. She also taught special education classes at Hamilton Township High School in Columbus, Ohio. After retiring she became a member of many online kidney dialysis support groups. There will be no visitation or services.
