Ruthanna  E. Sharp, 79, of Defiance, passed away on April 14, 2013 at

Mercy Defiance Medical Center.

She was born on October 16, 1933 to Ernie and Achsa (Varner) Spangler in Paulding, OH. She graduated from Oakwood High School in 1951.
Ruthanna  married Harry Sharp on October 24th, 1959.

She was a homemaker and member of First Church of God. She loved spending time with her family and sharing her gift of music.

Ruthanna is survived by her daughters, Angie (Randy) Antoine,
Laura (Randy) Sroufe, Julie (Randy) Weber all of Defiance; a son, Sean
Sharp of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Nick and Caleb Antoine, Jacob and Sydney Sroufe,
Achsa and Hannah Weber, Cayden and Jaylee
Sharp, and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Taylor Antoine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18th, 2013, at First Church of God, Carter Road,

with Pastor Rick Rufenacht officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Entombment
