Roy Eugene Wagner age 70 of Defiance died Wednesday 7/11/18 at Veterans Administration Medical Center Ann Arbor, Michigan. Roy was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 16, 1947 the son of the late Paul and Rosa (Miranda) Wagner. After graduation from High School Roy served in the United States Army which included combat service in Vietnam. Roy drove truck for many years for Keller Trucking of Defiance. He was a member of VFW Post #3360 as well as a member of the Xperience Church in Defiance. Roy enjoyed many things in life, but that most precious to him was his love for his country and his love for his Granddaughter. He is survived by: Son: Jason (Kelly) Wagner - Defiance Daughter: Jeniffer Wagner - Defiance Brother: Paul Wagner - Defiance Sister: - Mary Cruz - Defiance He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ray Wagner. Funeral services for Roy will be held at 11:00AM Thursday July 19, 2018 at the Lawson- Roessner Funeral Home. Pastor Kyle Brownlee of the Xperience Church of Defiance will officiate. Visitation for Roy will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00PM and on Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00AM. Roy will be cremated and then interred in the Veterans Section of Riverside Cemetery.
