Rose Rifenbark, 80, of Ney, passed away on  Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.

Rose was born on June 14, 1934 to Steven and Helen (Pahl) Lawrence in Flint, Michigan. On November 8, 1985 she married William "Buck" Rifenbark, who survives.

She was a member of the Moose Club in Defiance.

Rose is survived by her husband, William "Buck" Rifenbark of Ney, daughters, Susan LaPan of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Jeannette (Cole) Henry of Greenwood, Indiana, son, Tom (Deb) LaPan of Sanford, Michigan, stepsons, Tom (Kathy) Rifenbark, and Tim Rifenbark, all of Bay County, Michigan, sister, Margaret Lawrence of Sun City, Arizona, 13 Grandchildren, and 15 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Helen Lawrence, son, David LaPan, sisters, Eleanor Ball and Mary Bero.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating.
