Ronnie L Timbers, age 65, of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Laurels of Defiance. He was born on April 3, 1958 to Orson John and Janice (Potts) Timbers in Defiance. In 1995 he married Penny Sprow and they enjoyed 28 years together. Ronnie was a jack of all trades and worked in various fields throughout his life, most recently for the Crescent News. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, he loved his dogs, enjoyed cookouts, and most of all he loved to fish. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Ronnie is survived by his loving spouse of Penny and two sons, Josh and Jason Timbers all of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Charles "Chuck" Timbers and a sister, Jeannie Carpenter. A memorial service for Ronnie will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 2:30pm at Schaffer Funeral Home with Deb Miller officiating.
