Ronnie LeRoy Marihugh, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Defiance, passed away on  May 6, 2016 at his home in Indiana.

He was born on February 21, 1941 to Cyrus and Pearl (Schmitt) Marihugh in Defiance. Ronnie worked for several years at Nelson Global Products in Ft. Wayne. He was a huge fan of the Ft. Wayne Tin Caps, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ronnie loved his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Ronnie is survived by his sister, Vicki (Larry) Speiser of Defiance, and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Cyrus Marihugh, brother Bill Marihugh, sisters Bette Oelke and Nora Lee Baldwin.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will  follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Payne officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Ridge Cemetery.
